Just yesterday I went to Melcom with two of my colleagues at lunch time. The traffic was crazy- a journey that usually takes 20 mins took us an hour. By the time we got there, all of us were exhausted especially my pregnant colleague.
I didn't intend to buy anything even though I had 40 cedis in my pocket and 50 cedis in my purse ,but like the typical woman that I am, I ended up buying a few things. Whilst we were still looking around, my other colleague asked me if I had dropped any money- it was 15 Cedis, then I realised that there was no money in my pocket . My 40 cedis was gone, then one of the attendants told us that she had seen some 5 cedi notes on the floor.
She said she had given the money to a girl who claimed the money was hers, now I was getting worried, 40 cedis could easily get me a new pair of shoes.
I walked up to the "girl" who was with someone I suspected to be her " boo" - and there she was counting the money. I told her the money was 25 cedis and I was right. I took it from her without any hesitation.
So question is why take the money when it is not yours? A pretty girl with her nice guy by her side ready to use my " small money" for shopping!!!!
